Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Experience in Data transformations testing, ETL Data pipeline testing, cloud data migration testing, data warehouse testing, Big data lake testing, BI report testing Identify process dependency issues Identify data mapping issues. This candidate requires experience in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data moving through Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Ultimately validating that data is correctly extracted from source systems, transformed according to defined rules, and loaded into a target data warehouse or other data storage system.

• Creating comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases to validate ETL processes
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and analysis.
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Netezza, Databricks).
• Experience with data modeling and database design.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with data quality and governance principles.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or Java is often preferred.
• Experience with cloud platforms like GCP, Azure is also a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Play onsite QA role, Single point of contact for all QA activities and onsite/offshore coordination to Customer from TCS and be a Subject Matter Expert for the projects.
• Preparation of Test Strategy, Master Test Plan, Test Estimations
• Involved in all requirement, technical discussions with Product and Development teams
• Assigned test tasks to everyone in the test team and conduct peer reviews and meetings on daily basis to track issues closely.
• Responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of data moving through Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, ultimately validating that data is correctly extracted from source systems, transformed according to defined rules, and loaded into a target data warehouse or other data storage system.
• Coordinate with the team in delivering all the test artifacts on time without any schedule deviation or slippage.
• Coordinate with external teams during the integration/SIT testing
• Participate in all Scrum meetings conducted by customer on daily basis and updated the status and backup the team members.
• Make sure Team members complete the sprint goals that are allocated on daily basis.
• Managed the test tasks and deliverables on team ramp down.
• Active pa rticipation in technical and functional requirements discussions with the team
• Represented the test team in providing the status to the client in all weekly meetings. Generic Managerial Skills, If any
